How to edit my account info & settings?

Settings:

1.       To edit any basic info, click on the ‘Settings’ option on the left-hand side menu of the page.

2.       Display Icon:

·         If you want to change your display icon, click on ‘Change Pic’. 

·         This will take you to a page where you can sync your Gravatar account with your Interview Buddy account, thereby allowing you to change your picture.

·          If you don’t have a Gravatar account, you can sign up for one using the ‘Sign up for free’ option on this page.

3.       Edit Info:

·         You also have the option of editing your details by clicking on the ‘Edit’ option. You can update details such as mobile, email, nickname, etc. Remember to save these details by clicking ‘Update’.

·         In case you want to change your password, enter your current password in the field ‘Old Password’ and your new preferred password in ‘New Password’. Then click on ‘Change Password’.


4.       Test my Setup/Practice:

·         Before the session, you might want to check if your microphones and other technical aspects are in working condition. For this, click on ‘Test my Setup/Practice’.

·         If you are using Google Chrome, the page you are taken to will create a dialogue box on the left-hand top corner of the page saying ‘Interview Buddy wants to use your camera and microphone. 

·         Click on ‘Allow’.

·         In case this dialogue box doesn’t appear, check for an icon that looks like a red cross on a camera in your address bar. 

·         Click on it and select ‘Always allow Interview Buddy to access your camera and microphone’. 

·         Then click ‘Done’.

·         You should now be able to see yourself in the central black box, which means your camera is working fine.

·         Below this is an icon in the shape of a camera. Click on it and select either HD or SD depending on whether you want high definition or standard definition resolution for your webcam.

·         You will also find an icon that will let you quit the session once you’re done.
